 Attractive Mid 19th Century Mahogany Brass Bound Campaign Chest.  Still retaining the original screw-in feet and brassware.  A good original colour and
patination.  The drawers are lined with oak and the top right hand drawer,
with Bramah security lock.  Two paper labels to the top of the base
section, bearing the inscription 'Mr. Craig at Anderson, Stamford
and Ridgways, Dawson Street, Dublin.  For Col. Carter
OBE, Walton by Clevedon, Somerset.'

Impressive Mid 19th Century Brass Bound Mahogany Campaign Chest.  Still retaining the original screw-in feet and brassware.  Ash linings to the drawers. The central drawer, probably for the storage of military hats.  Bears a paper label to the back
with indistinct inscription "H G Leigh esq. 7(?) Pont Street, London."

drawer with Hobbs security lock and Army and Navy retail label.  The
quality and imposing size of this chest, suggests that it was made
for a high ranking Officer.
