This was the second game produced for LEGO Media Interactive. At the start of the project this was planned to be a bigger and better version of the first LEGO Creator.
However, about half way through development, LEGO Media's marketing department concluded that the needed complexity of the user interface to handle the specified level of interaction would be beyond the range of the target market, six year olds. So the whole game was redesigned to be more of a toy and less of a building environment.
Even with this set back, we were able to deliver what we thought was an excellent product, to the original time scale.
