I was chosen as the sculptor for England on this commission for the national
'Trees of Time and Place' campaign.
The commission, to create a sculpture encasing a 6' time capsule, holding thousands
of individual pledges to plant a tree from seed, has toured England and was symbolically buried at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in 2001.
This piece was created with the sole use of a chainsaw and took 12 days to complete.
