THE BISHOPS TREE FULHAM PALACE This commision involved using an existing cedar tree within the grounds of Fulham Palace, which has historically been the Bishop of London's residence. The tree itself could not be carved due to inner rot. Each piece of sculpture is secuely fixed onto the tree, giving the impression of bishops from the past peering out of and climbing up the tree. The commison also included a sculpted seat in the form of a sleeping bishop. Please see www.fulhampalace.org for further info.
